Cottage Children’s Center Youth Camps and Classes

Cottage Children’s Center Youth Camps and Classes include Adventure Camp, which focuses on play, creativity, movement, and making friends in a safe, supportive environment where kids build confidence, curiosity, and independence through hands-on activities and themed fun. The program also includes Lounge 360 Teen Camp, which features skill-building, leadership, creative labs, and challenges.

Formed in 1956 as a Recreation and Parkway District, the organization behind Cottage Children’s Center Youth Camps and Classes officially became the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District in 1958. Its mission states that recreation is important for all ages and is especially crucial during children’s formative years, and that socialization opportunities through recreation are needed to support their social-emotional development. Friends of FEC, formed in April 1991 as a Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation 501(c)(3), supports the mission of the Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District.
