Kops N Kids Summer Camp is a community-based week-long summer day camp that includes sports clinics and activities focused on gang resistance, violence prevention, gun avoidance, and drug deterrence. Campers take part in specific activities such as Basketball, Bikes, Dance & Cheer, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, Cadets, and a Family Festival Day on the last day of camp.

Kops N Kids Summer Camp states that it promotes leadership, accountability, and personal confidence for youth 8–14 years old and combines fun, mentorship, and personal development to support long-term success. The program’s mission is to give children the opportunity to interact with positive role models, experience sports clinics, and participate in gang resistance, violence prevention, gun avoidance, and drug deterrence activities. The summer camp is led by trained law enforcement, fire, and education professionals. The organization has been active since 1986, using the phrase “Empowering Youth Together Since 1986.”
The Kops-N-Kids organization has partnered with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, local fire departments, educators, and community volunteers. Participating organizations include the Sacramento Police Department, Sacramento County Probation Department, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Sacramento City Fire Department, Sacramento Metro Fire Department, Rancho Cordova Police Department, Elk Grove Police Department, and Roseville Police Department.
