NorCal Premier Soccer Youth Leagues and Programs offers soccer along with referee certification, coach education, goalkeeping courses, and a La Liga Formation Methodology Course. The program also includes a Coaching Symposium, a Spanish Language Coaching Course, Advanced Assistant Training, USSF Referee Assignor Courses, and the NPL Fall College Showcase.

NorCal Premier Soccer Youth Leagues and Programs states its vision as “We ignite a lifelong passion for soccer” and its mission as “We elevate soccer by developing players, clubs, coaches and referees.” The program offers a Summer Coaching Series presented by former FC Barcelona Youth Technical Director Albert Puig and a Coach Education Series with legendary, world-class goalkeeper coach Frans Hoek. NorCal Premier has announced age group changes for the 2026/27 season, with a switch back to a school-year–based age-group system effective with that season. The NorCal NPL Showcase is described as one of the top college showcase events on the West Coast, with over 125 college coaches in attendance.
NorCal Premier reports that it is always looking for ways to train new referees and improve the skills of those who already officiate for NorCal games, and it has launched Club Development Webinars to support the development of its member clubs in all areas of work on and off the field. Staff credentials include Albert Puig, a former FC Barcelona Youth Technical Director and UEFA Pro License holder with over 30 years in elite youth and professional football, and Frans Hoek, described as a legendary, world-class goalkeeper coach. The leadership and management team includes roles such as Director of Operations, Director of Competitions, Admin & HR Manager, Finance Manager, Technical Programs Manager and Coordinator, Marketing Manager, Operations Coordinator, Club Membership Coordinator, Club Services Manager, Communications Manager, State Referee Coordinator, PAD Chairperson and Administrator, various league and cup coordinators, an Event Manager, and a Grassroots Development Manager.
