Mad Science of Sacramento Valley

Mad Science of Sacramento Valley offers after-school programs, birthday parties, workshops, special events, summer camps, assemblies and shows, in-class field trips and workshops, science nights and interactive science booths. Children take part in high-energy science stage shows that feature spectacular chemical reactions, rocket launches, and ooey-gooey slime. The program provides unique, hands-on science experiences for children through innovative programs that are described as as entertaining as they are educational.

Mad Science was founded in 1985 in Montreal, Canada, and now has over 150 locations in more than 20 countries, with over 30 years in business. Mad Science of Sacramento Valley is described as a leading science enrichment provider and a world leading science provider. Its mission is to inspire children through science, sparking lifelong imagination and curiosity. The organization uses the phrase “Real Science. Real Skills. Real Fun.” and describes its camps as sparking creativity, building confidence, and making science unforgettable in a fun, high-energy environment led by trained Mad Scientists. The program states that it gets kids excited about science and invites families to celebrate a child’s special day with a Mad Science party. The leadership team includes Ariel Shlien and Ron Shlien.
