The Sacramento Valley Conservancy’s mission is to preserve the beauty, character and biodiversity of the Sacramento Valley landscape by protecting and stewarding natural and working lands and scenic open spaces for the benefit of current and future generations. The Sacramento Valley Conservancy manages and maintains the site used for SNJ Summer Day Camp and relies on donations, volunteers, and private rental fees for upkeep. Volunteers are needed to help care for plants year round in the native nursery and demonstration garden beds throughout the property. Use of Personal Flotation Devices is required for waterway use at the site, children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and dogs must be on leash with waste picked up.
