About

Strata Learning Academy is part of the Strata Learning Collective, alongside Strata After School and Camp Strata. The program follows aligned standards, shared leadership, and intentional developmental benchmarks with the other Strata Learning Collective programs. Strata Learning provides the structure behind Strata Learning Academy, including systems that support consistency and leadership that focuses on accountability across programs.

Strata Learning Academy operates within an education organization whose mission is to build strong developmental foundations for children across early childhood and school-age programs. The organization uses structured, research-informed environments and a model that centers on research-backed pedagogy, measurable developmental progress, ongoing educator training and coaching, operational excellence, and transparent communication with families. Strata Learning Collective is the new name for the organization previously referred to as Happy Hall, and the programs are being aligned under a unified structure designed for long-term clarity and strength. The organization was founded in 1951 and describes itself as building on a 75-year foundation in which Happy Hall has served children and families in the community. Leadership remains the same under the new name, and named team members at Strata Learning include Rachel Heck, Ty Durekas, Anne Baronia, Marina Hamack, and Isabel Figueroa Bellfigueroa. The organization identifies its industry as education administration programs and its type as educational, and it lists specialties that include research-informed pedagogy, whole child development, early childhood education, expanded learning programs, executive function development, social-emotional learning, school-age enrichment, infant and toddler development, preschool education, brain development in early learning, developmental assessment, after school programs, summer camps, educational leadership, educator training and coaching, neuroscience-informed education, youth development, kindergarten readiness, early learning systems, and executive function assessment.
