Peninsula Gymnastics – Gymnastics, Tumbling & Camps

Peninsula Gymnastics – Gymnastics, Tumbling & Camps offers gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics, circus acts, choreography, and arts & crafts. Camp options for school-age children include these same activities, and there are also gymnastics camps for developmental and team gymnasts. All gymnastics and tumbling programs are invited to participate in in-house competitions and annual shows.

• Schedule: Weekly evaluations are held on Monday and Wednesday at 6:00 pm.

Peninsula Gymnastics was founded in 1995 by Mikhail Margulis, Anna Margulis, and Mark Kachko, and in 1999 Courtney Johnson joined the team and later took ownership of the San Mateo facility. The program states that its community strives to create healthy lifestyles in youth through the sport of gymnastics and describes itself as a pillar in the community after teaching thousands of children self-confidence, the art of performance, and good sportsmanship over the last 20 years. Peninsula Gymnastics is an official member of the USA Gymnastics Club, and its professional USA Gymnastics coaches are CPR certified, first-aid trained, and screened through background checks. A free trial class is available for new students, and evaluations are recommended for new students ages 5 and up with experience in gymnastics, dance, or related sports, with a waiver required for evaluations. The program offers a variety of options ranging from preschool, recreational, developmental, and competitive levels, and also hosts events including Parents Night Out, annual shows, and in-house competitions.
