Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from UC Davis. Anghelika earned her BA in Theater Arts from Bennington College in 1988 and obtained her Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential, Adult Education Credential, and California Site Supervisor Permit. Mari earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development from UC Davis and completed her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSU Sacramento in 2000.
Sequoia Parents Nursery School is a cooperative preschool affiliated with Sequoia District Adult Education and operates in partnership with Sequoia Adult School. Through this affiliation, the preschool provides coaching and support for caregivers through teacher-facilitated discussions based on parents' observations and current early childhood education resources. It is a member of the San Mateo Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools and the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools. Sequoia Parents Nursery School is a recipient of a Community Foundation of San Carlos Grant, and the program notes that Sequoia families build friendships that can last a lifetime.
