Beach Cities Rock Club serves students in San Clemente, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Mission Viejo, and Ladera Ranch. It operates in the back of record stores in an effort to help those cultural centers stay open and continue to enrich their communities, and it has launched a streaming radio station that reached listeners around the world. The program has hosted student bands, high school DJs, open mics, and record release shows, and it maintains an “Artist Networking” clipboard inside the shop and on its social media pages so musicians can exchange contact information and connect to collaborate.
