San Clemente Volleyball Club - Club Lite focuses on volleyball for players who are new to the game. The program offers instruction in the basics of volleyball and covers important fundamentals. Players participate in volleyball activities in a setting that encourages smiling and a growth mindset.
• Ages: 9–13 years old
• Schedule: Year-round program with practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00–5:30
• Price: First Time Free...must register online.
Club Lite is for players in grades 4–8th with no experience necessary. Participants can join at any time. The program notes that no special gear is needed beyond a T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes. The mission of Club Lite states that it is a way to learn the basics of the game and discover the joy of the sport, with SCVB coaches teaching fundamentals while keeping things fun and positive, and encouraging learning through exploration and mistakes during the discovery process.
