South Coast Youth Football & Cheer offers flag football, tackle football, and cheerleading. The program includes both flag and tackle football as well as a cheerleading program under the Pop Warner structure.
• Ages: 5–15 years old
• Schedule: 2026 Early Bird Registration February 15 to March 15
South Coast Youth Football & Cheer is part of the Orange Empire Conference, a Pop Warner Little Scholars organization. The league serves the cities of San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, San Juan, Rancho Mission Viejo and Camp Pendleton, with player boundaries that include San Clemente, Dana Point, Capo Beach, Laguna Beach, Camp Pendleton and a free draw zone portion of Laguna Niguel, Rancho Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano. Pop Warner is open to players ages 5–15, and participants are recognized for their academic achievement at the local, conference and national level. Pop Warner incorporates a philosophy where academics and athletics go together, and there are no All-Star teams in Pop Warner Football.
The leadership team includes Rodney Tompkins (President and Athletic Director), Megan Richardson (Vice President of Football, Treasurer, and Registrar), Ryan Rodriguez (Secretary), Jake Brittain (Fields Director), Kelly Sidhu (Player Agent), Alex Sergio (Communications Director), Robert McNider and Eddie Madrid (Co-Equipment Directors), Gin Carey (Fundraising Director), Ryan Ortiz (Little Scholar Director), Lynee West (Volunteer Director), Eddie Madrid (Spirit Store Director), and Nicole Bogdan (Director- Laguna Breakers). The roles of Vice President of Cheer and Cheerleading Director are listed as TBD.
