Altus Schools Charter School of San Diego offers personalized learning programs for TK-12 students. About the provider

The school was founded in 1994 as the Charter School of San Diego and says it has been transforming lives for over 30 years, impacting over 78,000 lives. It is a fully accredited California State Charter School and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Its courses meet California Common Core curriculum standards and are approved by the University of California, meeting UC A-G requirements. The Charter School of San Diego was the first K-12 charter school to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award twice, in 2015 and 2021.

Altus Schools Charter School of San Diego is a public school and is free to all students. Enrollment includes placement in a designated Resource Center after processing. Families experiencing homelessness have specific educational rights and protections.
