Art Smarts After School Art Lessons offers after school art lessons that focus on drawing techniques and painting techniques. Children use several different drawing and painting techniques, mediums, and subject matters during the lessons. The program also includes projects that show how many different kinds of artists make their living through art.

Art Smarts After School Art Lessons is part of Art Smarts, Inc. Penelope Quirk is the President of Art Smarts, Inc. She received a BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art and furthered her education at the San Francisco Art Institute and San Diego City College. Art Smarts began its first after school program when the owner's children reached school age and she was the Art Docent Coordinator at Murray Manor Elementary for 10 years. The owner served as the Art Docent Coordinator at Murray Manor Elementary for 10 years, where Art Smarts began its first after school program.
