About
Children & Family Ministries includes Children's Sunday School, a children's message, videos, music, games, skits, crafts, and snacks. The program also offers Sunday Morning Nursery Care, Parents' Morning Out, Family Fellowship Events, and Vacation Bible School (VBS). Every summer it offers an exciting VBS adventure for kids preschool through entering 5th grade, and tweens and teens are encouraged to volunteer at VBS.
• Ages: 0–11 years old
• Schedule: Sunday School and nursery care during the 10:00 am service; Parents' Morning Out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00–11:00 am; VBS runs July 6–10
Sunday School is held during the 10:00 am service for children preschool through 5th grade and uses a lectionary-based curriculum so children are learning about the same scriptures and stories that are the focus of that week's worship. Sunday School meets in the first pew of the Sanctuary for a children's message before moving to Sunday School rooms 19 and 20. Newborns and children through 3 years old are welcome in the nursery during the 10:00 am service, and the nursery is located across the patio from the Sanctuary. Parents' Morning Out is designed for toddlers 18 to 36 months and is called pre-preschool. Throughout the year the program holds all-church events and monthly family events. Registration is open for VBS 2026: Exploring the Nature of God.
