ArtReach Youth Art Programs

ArtReach Youth Art Programs offers After-School Art Classes, School Programs, Mural Programs, Studio Programs, Residency Programs, and SPARK Programs for ages 5 to 18. After-School Art Classes are six-week art classes led by practicing artists and include hands-on projects. School Programs provide visual arts education during normal school hours, and Mural Programs involve collaborative youth-driven murals at schools and community sites.

About the provider

ArtReach programs are inspired by contemporary visual arts practices and focus on creating spaces for expression by fostering community and connection in the classroom. Programs include workshops that connect local artists with the public through free and low-cost hands-on art experiences for kids, teens, and families. Program materials are provided for residency programs, and qualifying Title I schools receive a discount on residency rates.

Qualifying Title I schools (65% Title I or above) receive a discount on residency rates. All San Diego County schools with a Title I designation are eligible for discounted rates. If the schedule is full, schools may be placed on a waitlist. Additional participating classrooms or extra workshops may be added at a reduced fee.
