BalletCenter Studios offers Nurseridance for ages 3 to 4 with creative movement pre-ballet classes. It also offers Kinders for ages 5 to 7, Bridge Ballet for ages 7 to 8, Ballet I for ages 8 and up, Ballet II for ages 9 and up, Ballet III for ages 11 and up, Ballet IV for ages 12 and up, and Ballet V for ages 14 and up, with classes that include ballet technique, pointe, jazz, variations, contemporary, body work and conditioning, and pas de deux.

• Advanced Summer Intensive — Ages 14 and up · $450 per session · A five day session featuring classes in technique, pointe, repertoire, and pas de deux. June 22 - June 26, daily 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Youth Summer Intensive — Ages 9 to 13 · $400 per session · A five day session featuring classes in technique, pre-pointe/pointe, repertoire, and conditioning. July 27 - July 31, daily 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

About the provider

BalletCenter Studios has served the San Diego community for over 25 years. Michelle G. Noblejas-Bartolomei has taught ballet since 1986, and Trystan Merrick has focused on teaching, choreography, and artistic leadership for the past 17 years. The leadership team also includes Michaela Gould, Barrett Bartolomei, Stephanie Koresaar, and Judith Sharp. The studio states that it specializes in holistic ballet training and places students based on progress and abilities rather than age.

Class placement is based on a student's progress and abilities rather than age. Adult classes are geared to all levels of proficiency. Tuition is prorated if a student begins in the middle of the month. If a student begins in the middle of the quarter, monthly payment is requested until the next quarter.
