Pro Kids, First Tee - San Diego offers Golf & Life Skills, academy programs, Summer Camps, and Spring Break Field Trips. The program includes Summer Camps 2026 that are open to the public and Pro Kids members, and Spring Break 2026 Field Trips that take place only in Oceanside and require participants to be active registered members.

Pro Kids, First Tee - San Diego was founded in 1994 by Ernest H. Wright, Sr. and a group of community leaders. Pro Kids became a charter member of First Tee in 1998 and is part of First Tee, an international youth development organization founded by the PGA and other associations to advance the game of golf. For more than 30 years, Pro Kids has been providing opportunities and opening doors to youth in underserved communities, and since 1994, more than 25,000 kids’ lives have been impacted through values intrinsic to the game of golf, including honesty, confidence, and respect. Since its inception in 1999, more than $3 million in scholarships has been awarded to Pro Kids Scholars, many of whom are the first in their family to pursue higher education. Pro Kids, First Tee - San Diego provides youth in grades 2–12 with access to opportunities that set them on a path to success in adulthood, and 54% of enrolled youth receive income-based or military status scholarships covering program membership fees. The mission of Pro Kids, First Tee - San Diego is to challenge underserved youth to excel in life by promoting character development, life skills, and values through education and the game of golf.
