San Diego Suzuki School of Music offers violin, viola, and cello instruction, along with early childhood classes. The program includes Suzuki Group Lessons, weekly group instrumental lessons, and music theory lessons. Students also take part in a Chamber Orchestra, Community Concerts, solo recitals, and large group performances.

The program uses the Suzuki Method and offers early childhood classes for children under four years old in the Little Treble Makers program. Its comprehensive program includes weekly group instrumental and music theory lessons, a Chamber Orchestra for intermediate and advanced students, and many performance opportunities including Community Concerts, solo recitals, and large group performances. The mission of San Diego Suzuki School of Music states that every child can learn music to a high ability level, just as they learn language, that the Suzuki Method nurtures the whole child, that learning music is exciting and joyful within the Suzuki community and students develop an ongoing desire to learn, and that the school strives for musical excellence and a lifetime love of learning. SDSSM is a registered 501(c)(3) organization and thanks its community partners and donors.
