Encore Dance Centre offers dance instruction with a focus on students who want to study dance more intently. The program includes performing groups that participate in dance performances for charities and community events. Company members are encouraged to audition for Performing Arts high schools and to showcase their dance work in professional events in Hollywood.

Encore Dance Centre has been serving its community for 42 years. The leadership team includes Bonnie Copeland as Owner and Artistic Director, Holly Sherlock as Artistic Director, and Bonnie Copeland as Owner. Instructors come from across the country and now live in Los Angeles, where they are pursuing careers in dance, choreography, or teaching professional dancers at top schools in Hollywood.
The program’s mission states that the study of dance is viewed as an art form and a long distance marathon, and it supports students in following their dreams and finding their own paths. The school does not participate in dance competitions. Many current students have been accepted to the Los Angeles High School of Performing Arts, and alumni have received scholarships to university dance programs such as NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Boston Conservatory, and University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Alumni have gone on to work professionally across the country, including roles such as dance captains and positions on cruise ships, at Disney, in film and TV, with the Radio City Rockettes, and with the Russian Ballet Company. Through its performing groups, the program emphasizes performing for charities and community events and focuses on the reward of giving back through artistry.
