About

Youth of the Year is a program offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco. It focuses on academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and community engagement, and job readiness. The program also features Camp Mendocino, a 2,000-acre residential summer camp.

Since 1891, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco has been dedicated to inspiring and enabling young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The leadership team includes Rob Connolly as President and Maxine Wilson as Chief Operating Officer, among others. The organization is actively involved in community-based youth development services, particularly in neighborhoods with limited resources for youth.
