Creative IQ Art Studio

Creative IQ Art Studio offers weekly art classes, Art Smart Class, art camps, workshops, private art lessons, and Arty Parties. The studio’s classes emphasize drawing and painting, and the school programs include finger painting, watercolor, collage-making, drawing, painting, and sculpture.

Programs

• Weekly Art Classes for All Ages — 5-6 year olds, 7-17 year olds, teens & adults; also kids 7yrs old and up, teens, and adults · Weekly classes; after school classes Tuesdays 2:05-4:05pm, Thursdays 2:05-4:05pm, Friday 2:10-4:10pm; Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm; 1st Thursdays 6:30-8:30pm (adults only) · All experience levels welcome. Start anytime during the school year. All supplies included. Emphasis on drawing and painting.
• Art Smart Class — 5, 6, and 7 year old children · Mondays 2:05-4:05pm; Wednesdays 1-3pm · Designed to introduce young students to fine art concepts while exploring different types of mediums. Students can start anytime within the semester.
• Art Classes, Camps, Workshops, and Parties — kids, teens, adults and all experience levels · General studio offerings listed on the site.
• Summer Camp — kids ages 7 to 17 · Art camp during summer.
• Fall Camp — kids ages 7 to 17 · Art camp during fall school holiday breaks.
• Winter Camp — kids ages 7 to 17 · Art camp during winter school holiday breaks.
• Spring Camp — kids ages 7 to 17 · Art camp during spring school holiday breaks.
• Art Programs for Schools — all ages · Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 10am-1pm; Wednesdays 10am-12pm · Can be taught at the school or at the studio. Suitable for all ages, group sizes, and levels of experience.
• Preschool Art Program — preschool classes · School art program with projects like finger painting, watercolor, and collage-making.
• Elementary, Middle, and High School Art Programs — elementary, middle, and high school age groups · School art programs with drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture.
• Private Art Lessons — students · Individualized instruction and expert guidance from professional teaching artists.
• Arty Parties — all occasions · Fridays 5-8pm; Saturdays 2-8pm; Sundays 12-6pm · Private parties and rental space for birthdays, team-building events, holiday parties, corporate events, paint and sip, and more.

About the provider

Creative IQ opened in 2015. Suzie Ferras is the owner, and she is also the SF Arts Commissioner and president of the Balboa Village Merchants Association. The studio has over 25 years of experience teaching art and working professionally in the arts, and it represents local artists from San Francisco, Oakland, and the San Francisco Bay Area in its gift shop and gallery.

Join anytime / start anytime. Waitlist is available if a session is full. Registration form and permission slip are required before the first day of class. Phone registration is available. For art parties, inquire for specific dates during closed periods.
