Dogpatch Paddle & Kayak Youth Camps

Dogpatch Paddle & Kayak Youth Camps offers beginner paddle board, intermediate SUP or kayak, and Teen Explorer’s travel camp sessions. Beginner paddle board is for ages 7 to 11 and runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, for $799 per week. Intermediate SUP or kayak is for ages 9 to 14 and runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm, for $799 per week. Teen Explorer’s travel camp is for ages 13 to 16 and is a small group camp for $999 per week.

Programs

• Beginner paddle board — 7 to 11 · Mon-Fri, 9:00am-3:00pm · $799 per week · No experience necessary. Campers build balance, paddling and safety in protected water at Crane Cove.
• Intermediate SUP or kayak — 9 to 14 · Mon-Fri, 9:00am-3:00pm · $799 per week · For paddlers with some experience. Campers refine technique on both board and kayak and go farther from base.
• Teen Explorer’s travel camp — 13 to 16 · 21 Jun and 2 Aug, small group · $999 per week · A smaller group built for teens. The camp visits paddle spots in the Bay Area, including Marin, the East Bay, Half Moon Bay and the Peninsula.

About the provider

Dogpatch Paddle started in 2020 as neighbors with boats and a brand new park. The shop came after, and the club is still running. The program’s community note says the club started as a community club when Crane Cove Park opened, and the Dogpatch Paddle Club is open to anyone who paddles here.

All campers must be solid swimmers. Camps are physically demanding. Every camp opens with a full safety briefing. If conditions change, alternative activities are ready. Extended care is available: before care 8 to 9am, after care 3 to 6pm, or both. Full refund up to 60 days before camp begins; between 30 and 60 days, credit toward any Dogpatch Paddle service or retail purchase; within 30 days, non-refundable unless a replacement camper is found. All children are welcome; the program holds an absolute policy of inclusion.
