First Tee — San Francisco offers golf instruction for kids and teens. The program includes top-tier golf instruction along with character-building lessons. It uses three components in its approach: Life Skills, Golf, and Building Game Changers.

The mission of First Tee — San Francisco is “Empowering Youth through Golf.” The program describes its focus as building Game Changers by providing fun and educational programs for kids and teens. The leadership team includes Jonathan Lee, Chief Programs Officer; David Halldorson, Program Manager: Golden Gate Park Golf Course; TK Thein, Program Manager: Visitacion Valley Middle School; and Kelly Woo, Program Manager: Sandy Tatum Learning Center. This leadership group oversees a team of over 30 coaches across the program’s sites.
