First Tee – San Francisco

First Tee — San Francisco offers golf instruction for kids and teens. The program provides fun and educational programs that use golf as the main activity. Every youth in the program receives golf instruction along with character-building lessons that are part of the First Tee approach.

The mission of First Tee — San Francisco is “Empowering Youth through Golf.” The program focuses on mentoring youth through the game of golf and refers to participants as “Game Changers.” Its approach is described as “Building Game Changers. Life Skills. Golf. Three components First Tee — San Francisco employs to develop the youth of tomorrow.” The leadership team includes Jonathan Lee, Chief Programs Officer; David Halldorson, Program Manager: Golden Gate Park Golf Course; TK Thein, Program Manager: Visitacion Valley Middle School; and Kelly Woo, Program Manager: Sandy Tatum Learning Center.
