About
The Joffrey San Francisco Summer Intensive offers a variety of activities in the performing arts. Participants engage in classical ballet technique, contemporary ballet, pointe, contemporary partnering, contemporary dance, modern, improvisation/composition, and Pilates & conditioning. The program also includes a performance opportunity on the final Saturday.

Founded in 1953, the program is led by Artistic Director Josie Walsh. It is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance. The mission is to empower passionate dance students to reach their greatest potential through high-quality professional and holistic dance training.
