Little Bee Preschool

Little Bee Preschool offers daily outings to explore nature, along with nature outings that let children spend time outdoors. At its Presidio campus, the program includes art in a dedicated art room, sensory room activities, and walls lined with vertical play activities that children can use. Children also take part in a variety of customized learning experiences through an intentional curriculum and interactive method, including year-round Mandarin Immersion and English language programs where prior knowledge of Mandarin is not required to enroll.

Little Bee Preschool uses a unique blend of Reggio-Emilia, Montessori, project-based, and play-based learning within an inclusive curriculum. The program offers nature-based, child-centered early childhood education supported by a nurturing and experienced team of educators. Little Bee was established in 2010. Its mission is to nurture children's innate curiosity and to help them come to creative solutions with an appreciation for the diversity of people, places, and thoughts. Little Bee Preschool has a responsive and supportive school community that mirrors the diversity of San Francisco and has a local community presence, serving families from the Marina, Cow Hollow, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, Laurel Heights, and Marin County.
