Master Rachael Evans (she/her) is the founder and chief instructor at Quantum Martial Arts, with over 40 years of martial arts experience and a sixth-degree black belt, and she teaches the Quantum style in a challenging and positive learning environment. The foundational work of the Quantum style began in May of 1987, and the first Quantum Martial Arts dojo opened in 1995, later reorganizing as a not-for-profit entity in 2000 and expanding through additional dojos and programs, including after-school and PE programs in several Seattle schools and a summer camp at the dojo. Quantum’s community involvement has included participation in the Q Street Patrol, leading the security team at the Seattle Pride Parade, and ongoing efforts to widen and strengthen its community through free monthly workshops and a focus on providing a safe, transformational space for impacted youth and families.
