San Francisco Ballet School offers Summer Ballet Classes, Summer Session I, Summer Session II, Summer Auditions, Adult Summer Workshop, Summer Pianist Workshop, Summer Dance Camp, Adult Dance Classes, Professional Dance Experience, Summer Workshop, Dance Class for People with Parkinson’s, and Student Matinees. About the provider
The mission statement says that San Francisco Ballet School trains the next generation of artists and welcomes dancers of all ages to discover the joy of movement. The Director of Education is Jasmine Yep Huynh. For 45 years, SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities residency program has provided free dance education to public school students across San Francisco, and San Francisco Ballet has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco since 2015 to provide a free, week-long summer camp.
No audition is required for Summer Ballet Classes. Admission to Sessions I and II is by audition or invitation from the artistic leadership. All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Single classes have a 30-day expiration. Cancel at least 12 hours before a pre-paid class to avoid being charged. Waitlist students are automatically added when a spot opens up, except starting two hours before class starts.
