San Francisco Gymnastics offers Tumblebugs classes, gymnastics classes of all levels, competitive teams, birthday parties, and camps. Classes are educationally based and are designed to inspire all types of learners, with instructors who are caring professionals trained to encourage children to have fun while participating in a challenging program.

San Francisco Gymnastics is the home of the popular Tumblebug Program for pre-school aged children. The program’s mission is to provide a quality athletic experience with an emphasis on fun. It states that personal and physical skills developed in gymnastics are building blocks for a child’s confidence and self-esteem, and that family, fun, fitness, and community are priorities. San Francisco Gymnastics (SFG) opened its doors in the Presidio in 2002, and in September 2012 it opened in the Fillmore Center. The leadership team includes co-owners Eric Van der Meer and Erinn Van der Meer, and Eric Van der Meer holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Science with an emphasis in coaching and a Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology.
