The mission of Voices of Music Outreach & Education Programs is to offer concerts and recordings of music composed before 1800, support the next generation of young professionals, and provide community outreach. The programs present music in live performances and, through innovative programming and original and passionate artistry, introduce new audiences of all ages to early classical music. The organization states that it strives to provide affordable educational programs for children and adults and advanced training for the next generation of young professionals. Voices of Music is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is described as America’s premier Early Music ensemble and as the most popular Early Music ensemble in the United States, performing both renaissance and baroque music and drawing on many sources for historical performance practice. The ensemble emphasizes combining instrumental and vocal styles of interpretation and ornamentation and is described as a pioneer in digital technology for the arts, with more than 100,000 people watching its concerts and programming each day, totaling more than thirty million viewers a year, including Voices of Music 8K, Ultra High Definition video performed on original instruments.
