Voices of Music After-School Recorder Classes offers after-school recorder classes. Students are placed in small groups by age and musical experience, and lessons include musical literacy, improvisation, composition, listening and movement games, self-esteem, creative thinking, discipline, team work, and communication. Students may borrow instruments to participate.

About the provider
Voices of Music has taught hundreds of East Bay students to play the recorder over the past twenty years. At the end of each semester, the program has a culminating performance open to families and the broader community for students to showcase and celebrate their achievements.
Students are placed in small groups by age and musical experience. Lessons emphasize musical literacy, improvisation, composition, listening and movement games, self-esteem, creative thinking, discipline, team work, and communication.
