San Francisco Rock Project offers summer camps, 1:1 lessons, and group sessions or bands. Summer camps are immersive live rock band camps with instruments offered for drums, bass, guitar, voice, and piano/keyboard, and camps end with a live performance on Friday at 6pm. 1:1 lessons are offered in person or virtually, with monthly lesson packages and one-off lessons available Monday through Friday and Saturdays.

Programs

• Summer Camp — grades 2-12; ages 7-18 · 12pm-5pm; live performance on the Friday (6pm) of each camp · Immersive live rock band summer camps; all skill levels welcome unless otherwise noted; early-care available for $3.
• 1:1 Lessons — all ages · Monday through Friday; Saturdays · $54–$295 · Private instrument instruction, in person or virtual; monthly lesson packages and one-off lessons are offered.
• Group Sessions / Groups/Bands — Age 7-18 · Group sessions for all skill levels, enhanced by live performances at real events and venues.

About the provider

San Francisco Rock Project has provided Bay Area youth with music education and live performance opportunities since the Summer of 2010. Its mission is to instill confidence, inspire creativity, and celebrate collaboration in a dynamic and supportive environment. The program accepts students of all races, ethnicities, gender orientations, and economic backgrounds, and its camps include mixed skill levels.

Anti-discrimination policy states students of any race, color, gender orientation, national and ethnic origin are accepted. Camps are mixed skill levels; the school does not discriminate on age between 8 and 18 and may use instructors, interns, or House Band players to help when skill-level differences arise. For camps, a first-choice instrument is prioritized and at least 1 song on the first-choice instrument is generally guaranteed, depending on skill.
