About
SFBA Sports Performance includes basketball skill training, basketball practices, basketball scrimmages, and basketball tournaments. The program also includes skill development, IQ development, athletic performance, energy system development, team concepts, strength training, agility and speed work, and recovery. Athletes take part in vertical jump and agility training using Vertimax platforms, as well as strength training for basketball, and undergo monthly testing for 3/4 court sprint, lane agility, and vertical jump.

• Schedule: Two 90-minute basketball practices per week, two 60-minute skill development and athletic performance sessions per week, and two tournaments per month from April through July; camp days Monday–Friday, 8 AM–3 PM
SFBA Sports Performance states that its mission is to support youth athletes through skill development, athletic performance, and recovery. The SFBA AAU Basketball program focuses on four stated pillars: basketball skill training, IQ development, athletic performance, and recovery. SFBA hosts club and travel basketball teams from 3rd grade through high school, with a fall season running from September through October, a pre-season beginning in mid-March, and the main season starting in April. Teams participate in two tournaments per month for the spring and summer AAU season from April through July, including a travel tournament in Reno, Nevada on Memorial Weekend in May and a tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada in July. The summer basketball camp is described as an off-season training program for youth athletes in 3rd through 8th grade, is not a day care, and combines basketball skill work, athletic performance development, scrimmages, and recovery.
