Sharon Art Studio Youth Art Classes is part of Sharon Art Studio, which has served generations of San Franciscans since the 1960s. The studio is San Francisco’s largest public art studio and is one of San Francisco Recreation & Park Department's community arts centers. Its mission is to offer accessible opportunities for artistic learning, creative expression, and community connection. The studio offers affordable opportunities for people of all ages to learn, create, and connect through the arts and brings together students, instructors, artists, and visitors through exhibitions, open houses, artist talks, special events, and hands-on experiences. Fall is the studio's biggest season with over 80 classes to choose from, and the studio offers over 50 unique workshops and events each year, including annual events such as the Spring Open House, Summer Student Showcases, and Artist in Residence Salon. Membership provides early registration access one week before public enrollment and a $25 discount on every class registration.
