Music with Toby offers Suzuki violin lessons, private violin lessons, voice lessons, and private voice lessons. The program also offers Family Music Lessons where children and their parents or caregivers sing, dance, play percussion instruments, learn new songs, and revisit old favorites, accompanied by violin. Early Childhood Music group classes are also available as early childhood music classes.

Toby Branz leads Music with Toby and has 20 years of teaching experience as both a private music teacher and a classroom teacher in San Francisco private schools. Toby holds a B.A. from Pomona College, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (2010), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (2011). Toby has Suzuki Teacher Certification in Books 1, 2, 3, and 4 from the Hartt Suzuki Institute and the Advanced Suzuki Institute at Stanford. The program’s mission states a love of music, a passion for music education, and a belief that people are never too old or too young to make music. Family Music Lessons are for children of all ages and their parents and/or caregivers, and families can register for just one Early Childhood Music class or a whole series.
