Wu Yee Early Learning Centers offers interactive learning and play for children through hands-on weekly sessions. The program includes a 9-week Parent-Child Interactive Group and inter-generational programs with seniors.

Wu Yee Early Learning Centers is San Francisco's largest Head Start and Early Head Start provider. The organization states that it is committed to a thriving, diverse, and successful San Francisco and focuses on excellent child care and education for all children from the start. Wu Yee has more than 12 center-based care options in a variety of San Francisco neighborhoods, as well as Family Child Care Homes that serve families with children from 3 months to age 3 and provide full-day, year-round comprehensive Early Head Start services in licensed family child care homes. The Home Visiting program works with parents to set goals, create learning experiences, and monitor their child’s progress.
Wu Yee’s Resource and Referral program provides one-on-one childcare counseling, and its Family Resource Hubs offer lending and toy libraries and access to Resource and Referral. Joy Lok in Chinatown and the 3rd Street Hub in Bayview serve as family resource hubs. Generations Early Learning Center shares space with On Lok Senior Housing and offers inter-generational programs where children spend time doing activities with seniors. Bayview Early Learning Center shares space in the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA, and Hunters Point/Kirkwood Early Learning Center joins nearby Willie Mays Boys and Girls Club in serving children and families in that neighborhood. Lok Yuen Early Learning Center was chosen as a Dual Language Learning demonstration site by First 5 San Francisco, and children there learn and play in both English and Cantonese. Southeast Early Learning Center has spacious and dynamic play areas for different age groups. Funding for Wu Yee Children’s Service is provided in part by the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood.
