Since its beginning in 2015, over 18,000 community members have walked through Code Tenderloin’s doors. Over 1,500 participants have graduated from the Code Ramp Program. The program reports that 87% of participants land jobs and that 74% of participants are people of color. It also reports that 100% of participants have a professional resume, LinkedIn profile, mock interview experience with volunteers from the corporate community and HR professionals, and have received mentorship. Code Tenderloin reports that 95% of participants graduate from the Job Readiness Program, and of those graduates, 90% are placed in jobs or higher education out of Code Tenderloin. Of those who were placed in jobs, 46% remain in the same job 12 months after graduating from Code Tenderloin, and 54% find better jobs, attend degree or bootcamp programs, or become unemployed and return to Code Tenderloin.

The mission statement of Code Tenderloin is “Removing barriers to make living-wage jobs a possibility for everyone.” Code Tenderloin is fiscally sponsored by The Center for New Music. Enhanced Case Management (ECM) is described by the program as a care benefit that addresses clinical and non-clinical needs of high-need individuals through the coordination of services and comprehensive case management. The leadership team includes Del Seymour (Executive Director, Founder) and Donna Hilliard (contact person). By contacting the resource line, participants consent to receiving text messages.
