About
California Cougars Travel Hockey runs travel hockey teams under the California Cougars name. The program uses a computer-based Electronic Scoreboard for all games, with a touch-screen computer that remains at the rink and is hooked up to the scoreboard right before each game. The 2025–26 Cougars Travel Teams have been declared, and the 2025–2026 Cougars Travel Season has been archived.
• Ages: 7–14 years old
• Schedule: Practices start the week of July 13; tournaments are held on Labor Day (September 4–7), Thanksgiving (November 25–29), Winter Break (December 26–29), MLK Day (January 15–18), and Presidents’ Day (February 12–15)
California Cougars is registered with The Library of Congress Copyright Office and cannot be used without the expressed permission of Ice Center Enterprises. The organization holds a copyright from 2001–2026 under the California Cougars name. Families can support the program through eScrip using Friends of the Cougars ID #5289256. A NORCAL Electronic Scoreboard tutorial and a Time To Score, Inc. full-version tutorial are available for the electronic scoring system. Cougars tryouts for the 26/27 season took place on Friday–Saturday, June 12–13, and the Cougars teams for the 26/27 season will be posted once they are formed.
