About

Heroes Martial Arts Youth Classes offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training for kids, using a grappling-based martial art where students learn principles of position and leverage to control and subdue an opponent. The program also includes self defense workshops as part of its activities. The name Heroes comes from wanting a lighter representation of martial arts and uses a comic book motif inspired by superheroes such as Spiderman, with training Jiu Jitsu compared to having superpowers and an emphasis that with great power comes great responsibility.
