The Farm School on Los Rios – Cooking Classes

The Farm School on Los Rios – Cooking Classes offers hands-on cooking classes that focus on seasonal country cooking from around the world and from the on-site gardens. The program includes demonstration cooking classes, fun classes for couples and small groups, customized cooking classes for private groups, and cooking classes with friends, family, or a special someone.

The Farm School on Los Rios – Cooking Classes is led by Chef Suzanne Daniel. The Farm School states that it is committed to reconnecting the kitchen with the land. In 2008, the Warkentien family and the Rancho Viejo Montessori School together acquired the 1903 Salvador Labat farmhouse in the historical Los Rios neighborhood of San Juan Capistrano as part of the school’s land lab with an emphasis on land-based activities. The program describes itself as offering the ultimate farm to table culinary experience in a historical farm cottage setting with a restored 1903 home, a state-of-the-art catering home kitchen, and several garden and outdoor features.
