Conservatory of Classical Ballet

Conservatory of Classical Ballet offers ballet training for children, teens, and adults, including beginning through advanced levels. The program includes performance opportunities for students and also offers ongoing teen/adult ballet classes and Pilates mat classes.

Founded in 2001, Conservatory of Classical Ballet is led by Director Ann Fisher. The school provides professional-level training for all students, regardless of age, race, gender, or body type. It trains dancers in a pure classical style, developing clean lines absent of mannerisms, with natural freedom of movement. The curriculum is described as challenging and emphasizes artistry as well as strength and technical ability. Care is taken to train each dancer to use their muscles in a way that is both technically correct and safe for their particular body. The program offers beginning to advanced ballet training, with performance opportunities for students ages 3 1/2 years to adult. Class groupings include Pre-Ballet & Beginning for ages 3.5–12, a Student Division for ages 7–21, and Adult/Teen Classes for ages 13 and up. On-going teen/adult ballet and Pilates mat classes are available, with options to drop in for a single class or use a multi-class discount. While attending Conservatory of Classical Ballet, students are encouraged to achieve their highest potential in a disciplined and supportive environment.
