Conservatory of Classical Ballet

Conservatory of Classical Ballet offers ballet training that includes Pre Ballet classes, Teen/Adult Ballet classes, and Pilates mat classes. The program also includes performance opportunities for its students. Classes are available from beginning through advanced levels, including Intro through Advanced options, with choices to drop in for a single class or use a multi-class discount.

Conservatory of Classical Ballet was founded in 2001 and is led by Director Ann Fisher. The school offers Pre-Ballet for ages 3.5–6 years and a Student Division for ages 7–21 years, along with on-going Teen/Adult Ballet and Pilates mat classes. The East Bay ballet school’s stated mission is to provide professional-level training for all students, regardless of age, race, gender, or body type, in a disciplined and supportive environment. The program trains dancers in a pure classical style, focusing on clean lines without mannerisms and natural freedom of movement, with a curriculum that emphasizes artistry, strength, and technical ability. The mission also states that care is taken to train each dancer to use their muscles in a way that is technically correct and safe for their particular body.
