Davis Street Summer Camp Programs offers summer camp enrichment that includes weekly activities such as sports, field trips, art, health, writing, and cooking. The program also includes STEM projects such as robot making and bridge building, along with activities that support each child’s cognitive, emotional, and physical growth. Children attend camp in a stimulating, nurturing, and inclusive environment to learn and grow.
• Ages: 3–11 years old
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Price: We offer summer camp at affordable rates for full cost day care, as well as those who receive no/low cost subsidized child care.
Davis Street Summer Camp Programs are part of Davis Street Licensed Summer Camp Child Development Centers at Garfield Elementary and Roosevelt Elementary. Since 1972, Davis Street has provided basic emergency support services to low-income individuals and has been a key community leader in guiding families and individuals out of poverty and into productive lives by helping others help themselves. The organization’s mission is to improve the quality of life for low-income residents in the Eden Area and surrounding communities, and it provides a variety of supportive services for families in need, including primary care (medical, dental, pediatric, behavioral health, and women’s health services), child care, programs for adults living with developmental disabilities, free food and clothing, housing information, utility assistance, and more. Davis Street has been selected as a 2023 California Nonprofit of the Year.
