Floresta Baseball League is a youth baseball program that includes regular baseball games and special events. Players take part in Mid-Season Mix-Up mixed-team games and a league-wide potluck as part of the season. League President Gunnar Hissam leads the league and has been presented with the District 5 Community Award. The Mid-Season Mix-Up is described as a fun, all-day community event featuring mixed-team games, a league-wide potluck, and a $15K fundraising goal, with Ro’s Tropical Sno serving shave ice from 12–2 PM to support the league. The 3rd Annual Mid-Season Mix-Up raised $12,490, and the AA team The Bulls raised $2,200 and won an ice cream party. Floresta Baseball League held Floresta Day at Oakland Ballers, where more than 230 Floresta Baseball players, families, coaches, and friends filled the stands at Raimondi Park for the Oakland Ballers’ first Family Day of the season.
