East West KungFu Academy offers training in Traditional Chinese Kung Fu, Contemporary Wushu, Self-Defense, and Kickboxing. The program also includes Dragon Dance and Lion Dance, as well as Summer Camps.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes available Tuesday–Sunday with afternoon and evening options on weekdays and daytime options on weekends

East West KungFu Academy has proudly served the community for nearly seven years. The academy’s mission is to promote Chinese culture, introduce authentic Kung Fu to a wider audience, and cultivate disciplined, confident, and well-rounded individuals. With over 15 years of teaching experience, Master Anson Lu is a patient and dedicated instructor and leads the program. Under Master Lu’s leadership, students regularly participate in community events, cultural celebrations, and charity performances throughout the year, including a Moon Festival Performance at the San Leandro Main Library, a Chinese New Year Kung Fu Performance, and performances at Washington Manor Park at San Leandro. The academy participated in the California International Wushu Championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and in 2023 students won 9 gold, 11 silver, and 8 bronze medals. Performance opportunities at these events allow students to gain valuable experience, deepen their understanding of Chinese culture, and build confidence both on and off the stage.
