Our Future Tots Learning Center

Our Future Tots Learning Center includes daily art projects, outdoor play, and special activities and events throughout the year. Children take part in running, jumping, climbing, riding tricycles, playing with climbing structures, and playing basketball with hoops. The program also holds a yearly graduation ceremony for preschoolers moving on to kindergarten.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Our Future Tots Learning Center includes the Busy Bear Room for ages 24 months to 3 years, the Rainbow Room for ages 3 to 4 years, and the Dinosaur Room Pre Kindergarten Program for ages 4 to 5 years old. The Busy Bear Class offers an optional potty training program. Outdoor play is described as an important part of a child’s daily schedule, and the outdoor play yard is equipped with climbing structures, tricycles, basketball hoops, and shaded areas.

Our Future Tots Learning Center has been serving the San Leandro community since 1993. The program integrates the philosophy and theory of the Creative Curriculum. The mission statement describes a comprehensive approach to early childhood education that focuses on physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, with an educational environment that encourages interactive learning and hands-on experiences. The mission statement also states that parents are considered essential partners in their child’s education and well being, and that parents are kept informed about their child’s progress through newsletters and calendars. Diversity is described as a strength and an opportunity for learning, and parents are encouraged to share their unique family traditions. The Director is Victoria Torrez. Our Future Tots is licensed by the State of California (License # 013418976).
