Our Future Tots Learning Center

Our Future Tots Learning Center includes daily art projects, outdoor play, and special activities and events. Children take part in running, jumping, and climbing, and the program holds a yearly graduation ceremony for preschoolers moving on to kindergarten. The center offers an optional potty training program and uses an outdoor yard with climbing structures, tricycles, basketball hoops, and shaded areas.

Our Future Tots Learning Center has been serving the San Leandro community since 1993. The program integrates the philosophy and theory of the Creative Curriculum and describes diversity as a strength and an opportunity for learning. Classrooms include the Busy Bear Room for ages 24 months to 3 years with an optional potty training program, the Rainbow Room for ages 3 to 4 years, and the Dinosaur Room Pre Kindergarten Program for ages 4 to 5 years old. The program states that outdoor play is an important part of a child’s daily schedule and is key in supporting both physical and mental health, and that physical outdoor play contributes to developing gross motor skills. Parents are encouraged to share their unique family traditions, and parents are kept informed through monthly newsletters and calendars.
