VBS offers a program called VBS 2026: Rainforest Falls. The VBS 2026 theme is Rainforest Falls, and registration for VBS 2026 is now open.
VBS takes place at San Marino Community Church, which has a history from 1939 to the present. The program is connected with leadership from Rev. Jessica Vaughan Lower. SMCC’s vision statement is to live Christ’s Great Commandment – to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to serve and love our neighbor as ourselves. The church’s community involvement includes Care Kits for people experiencing homelessness, the annual Christmas Mission Market at San Marino Community Church, ongoing support for the Food Bank at Iglesia de la Comunidad Presbyterian Church in Highland Park, partnership with Union Rescue Mission including a clothing and household items donation drive and participation in URM's Annual 5k Run/Walk at the Rose Bowl, support for Union Station Homeless Services including providing a hot meal on the second Sunday of each month, partnership with Icthus International, support for Dr. F.S. who mentors and trains believers from a Muslim background, and partnership with Friends In Deed including an annual Backpack and Supply Drive.
