Peninsula Gymnastics – Gymnastics, Tumbling & Camps

Peninsula Gymnastics – Gymnastics, Tumbling & Camps offers gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics, circus acts, choreography, and arts & crafts. All gymnastics and tumbling programs are invited to participate in in-house competitions and annual shows. Camp options include gymnastics camps for developmental and team gymnasts, as well as camps for children with or without gymnastics experience that are run by coaches who are members of the USA Gymnastics Federation, circus performers, and choreographers.

• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Weekly evaluations are held on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:00 pm, with additional class and office hours available Monday through Saturday.

Peninsula Gymnastics was founded in 1995. The organization was started by Mikhail Margulis, Anna Margulis, and Mark Kachko, and in 1999 Courtney Johnson joined the team and later took ownership of the San Mateo facility. The stated mission is that the community strives to create healthy lifestyles in youth through the sport of gymnastics. Peninsula Gymnastics is an official member of the USA Gymnastics Club, and its professional USA Gymnastics coaches are CPR certified, first-aid trained, and screened through background checks.

Peninsula Gymnastics provides gymnastics services for several local organizations, including the City of Burlingame Recreation Department, City of Foster City Recreation Department, City of San Mateo Recreation Department, City of San Carlos Recreation Department, Peninsula Jewish Community Center, All Our Friends Montessori, St. Ambrose, Sea Breeze School, and Ocean Grove Charter School. A free trial class is available for new students. Peninsula Gymnastics also hosts events such as Parents Night Out, annual shows, in-house competitions, and other activities, and offers camp opportunities for school-age children throughout the year, including a Summer Camp with half and full day options.
