Peninsula Gymnastics – Gymnastics, Tumbling & Camps

Peninsula Gymnastics – Gymnastics, Tumbling & Camps offers gymnastics, tumbling, acrobatics, circus acts, choreography, and arts & crafts. The program includes a variety of options such as preschool, recreational, developmental, competitive gymnastics, and camp programs that feature these activities. All gymnastics and tumbling programs are invited to participate in in-house competitions and annual shows.

• Ages: 2–18 years old
• Schedule: Class and office hours available Monday–Saturday, with morning and afternoon/evening options; closed on Sunday

Peninsula Gymnastics was founded in 1995 by Mikhail Margulis, Anna Margulis, and Mark Kachko, and in 1999 Courtney Johnson joined the team and later took ownership of the San Mateo facility. The program states that its community strives to create healthy lifestyles in youth through the sport of gymnastics. Peninsula Gymnastics is an official member of the USA Gymnastics Club, and its coaches are members of the USA Gymnastics Federation, are CPR certified, first-aid trained, and are screened through background checks. Gymnastics camps are under the management of coaches who are members of the USA Gymnastics Federation, circus performers, and choreographers, and all classes state that they promote a healthy lifestyle by increasing physical fitness, strength, and self confidence. Peninsula Gymnastics also provides gymnastics services for several local organizations, including multiple city recreation departments, schools, and community centers.
