Cucu's PlayHouse is a Language Immersion School that specializes in teaching Spanish through Music and Movement to children aged 3 months to 5 years old, and the program enhances children's development while they are having fun and nurtures their innate musicality. The goal stated by the program is that children feel like they are going to a fun place where they experience music, play with other children, and bond with their parents or caregivers.

The leadership team includes Nilda, the Lead Teacher and Founder of Cucu's PlayHouse; Yani, one of the founders of Cucu's PlayHouse; Lorena, who handles day-to-day operations; and Blanca, a staff member with 28 years of experience in elementary education. Nilda has a background growing up in a family of Cuban musicians, Lorena has years of experience in early childhood education, and Blanca was the director and owner of her own school in Peru for 11 years. Blanca handcrafts many of the class materials, including puppets featured in the “Un Amigo Me Enseñó” song.

The program is described as a top rated Spanish Immersion program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, with more than 200 reviews from parents across the United States and beyond, and more than 5,000 children have learned Spanish with the program. Each Music and Movement class is intentionally planned around specific words and phrases, and songs, stories, and games introduce core values such as honesty, empathy, kindness, determination, independence, and confidence. The name Cucu's PlayHouse is inspired by the traditional children's song “Cucú, cucú, cantaba la rana,” written in 1657 by Luís de Belmonte.

Classes are also offered on platforms such as Outschool, Activity Hero, and KidPass. Cucu's PlayHouse includes a toy store with a hand-picked selection of toy brands that focus on sustainable practices, materials, and design quality, and the vast majority of toys are made out of wood, silk, and other natural materials, with organic pigments, water-based dyes, and non-formaldehyde glue.

One parent testimonial from Krystal W. states that her 3-year-old daughter loves Cucu’s PlayHouse, describes the 30-minute online experience as amazing, and shares that her daughter was excited that Cucu’s PlayHouse could be part of their vacation. The testimonial also notes that Cucu’s PlayHouse brought a lot to their family during the pandemic and that they participate from New Jersey, with the child asking each morning if there is Cucu that day or the next.
