Enriching Lives through Music

Enriching Lives through Music offers Music for Social Change, orchestral instruments instruction, chorus, orchestra, chamber music, academic support, tutoring, Reading Buddies, college and career counseling, summer camp, and parent music groups. It also offers scholarships for private lessons for exceptionally motivated students.

About the provider

ELM began as a pilot project in 2008. Its mission is to inspire and empower youth through immersive music education and resources, and it is a full scholarship, multi-year, intensive program that provides music education, ensemble, and performance opportunities. ELM serves primarily Latino children and families in the Canal neighborhood of San Rafael and engages parents in workshops, including bilingual, culturally relevant workshops for families.

Full scholarship program; no financial barriers to participation; tuition free instrumental ensemble music school; students must be recommended by their school music teacher and remain in their school ensemble program if already participating in one. ELM is ADA compliant.
