San Rafael Martial Arts

San Rafael Martial Arts offers Cubs Kung Fu, Tigers Kung Fu, Teens Kung Fu, Adult Kung Fu, Yang Style Tai Chi, and Lion Dancing. Cubs Kung Fu is for ages 4-6, Tigers Kung Fu is for ages 7-10, Teens Kung Fu is for ages 11-15, and Adult Kung Fu is for ages 16 and above.

• Tigers Kung Fu — 7-10 years old · Tigers Class 4:00-4:45 pm on Mon, Wed and Fri; 9:00-9:45 am on Sat
• Teens Kung Fu — 11-15 years old · Teens Class 5:00-6:00 pm on Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri; 5:30-6:30 pm on Thu
• Adult Kung Fu — 16 and above · Adults 6:30-7:30 pm on Mon, Wed, Thu; 7:30-8:30 pm on Tue; 11:00-12:00 on Fri
• Yang Style Tai Chi — Tai Chi 6:30-7:30 pm on Mon and Wed; 11:15-noon on Sat
• Lion Dancing — 10:00-11:00 am on Sat

About the provider

San Rafael Martial Arts was founded in 2011 by Sifu Terrance Thornton. The program says it has over 35 years of Martial Arts experience. It was recognized as the Best Martial Arts School in Marin County by Pacific Sun and voted Best Martial Arts Academy for the Independnant Journals Readers Choice Award. It has contributed to the SF-Marin Food Bank for over 10 years, has been a member of the Business Improvement District since 2012, and is a member of San Rafael Clean.
