Little Marlin Swim School

Little Marlin Swim School offers group and private swim lessons that include activities such as underwater swimming with toy retrieval, assisted front and back floats, water entries, glides, and kicking. Group lessons are available in Beginner 1/2 - Sailfish and Level 1/2 - White Marlin levels. Parents may get in the water with the student and the instructor to help facilitate the transition if needed.

• Schedule: Group lessons run in 4-day Monday–Thursday sessions starting June 15, with 30-minute daily classes; private lessons are offered throughout the week

Aquatics Director Buffy Patterson leads the Little Marlin Swim School program. The program states that it is “fanatical about the importance of learning to swim.” Private lessons are offered by appointment Monday–Thursday from 11am–4pm with either a Jr or Sr instructor. Members may register for private and group lessons before non-members, and non-member students may not use the pool outside of their lesson time. Any lesson cancelled within 7 days of the lesson start is charged a $25 cancellation fee. The pool is not described as warm enough for very young children, so mommy and me lessons are typically not offered.
