Marin Elite Gymnastics Academy

Marin Elite Gymnastics Academy offers gymnastics training in a facility that has been a gymnastics training center for more than 40 years. The program takes place in a safe and clean environment with top-quality equipment and regular upkeep.

• Schedule: Last day of classes is June 12th, 2026; summer camps begin June 15th.

MEGA has been serving Marin families for over 25 years. The mission of Marin Elite Gymnastics Academy is to provide a joyful, supportive environment where kids can thrive, grow, and succeed through gymnastics, and to create a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels safe, seen, and empowered, with growth in both skill and confidence.

Coaches at MEGA are certified and background checked through USA Gymnastics and attend annual lectures and training to stay up to date. MEGA is a USAG Member Club, and coaches are background checked. In 2023, longtime owners Donna and Mike passed the reins to current owner Cassie Bratberg, who has been involved in gymnastics since early childhood, began coaching athletes of all ages and levels during high school, and was part of the MEGA team for over a decade as a team coach and program manager before becoming owner. Cassie has been a part of the San Rafael Rotary since 2026.

Parents describe strong camaraderie among the athletes and note that they have enrolled multiple children at the gym, including a 7-year-old who is excited to join the Pre-team. One parent reports that coaches at MEGA are coaching the “whole” athlete and view personal development as just as important as raw gymnastics skills.
